Message	A lot of people will cut the existing one at an easy access spot and use a male to male vacuum connector and extend it from there. If you plan on pulling the engine sometime in the near future or if your existing boost lines are in good shape or fairly new, you could do that. It's not my favorite way because it's more places for a potential leak but it's a very simple solution to your problem.
